Mahindians UAE is proud to announce a another milestone in our continued commitment to our alma mater, Mahinda College, Galle. We have formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the college to support and strengthen its hockey development programme for three years, commencing from January 2026.
Mahinda College has a proud and longstanding tradition in hockey, having produced many outstanding players over the years and earning recognition as one of the hockey team. Mahindians UAE have recognized the importance of preserving and nurturing this legacy for future generations.
Through this partnership, Mahindians UAE will provide structured support to enhance player development, training standards, and overall team readiness. The initiative focuses on creating a sustainable environment that allows young Mahindian hockey players to grow, compete, and perform with confidence.
This collaboration is built on shared values, accountability, and long-term vision, with Mahindians UAE working closely alongside the college administration to ensure the programme’s continuous progress and wellbeing of the players.
As part of the partnership, the Mahindians UAE identity will be proudly associated with the Mahinda College Hockey Team, symbolizing the strong bond between the Mahindian alumni community in the UAE and the students in Galle.
