Mahindians UAE successfully hosted Mihindu Avurudu Sandawa 2026, bringing together families and friends for a joyful evening filled with tradition, laughter, and togetherness.
The event was a wonderful celebration of Sinhala and Tamil New Year traditions, beginning with the lighting of the oil lamp and a beautifully arranged Avurudu table featuring traditional sweetmeats such as kiribath, kevum, kokis, athirasa, and other festive treats.
Members and family enjoyed a series of exciting Avurudu games that created fun and friendly competition for both adults and children. The evening was filled with energy, smiles, and unforgettable moments as everyone participated in the festive activities.
Dinner and refreshments gave everyone a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the warm community atmosphere. Special presentations were also held to recognize the winners of the games, making the celebration even more memorable.
