Richmond Mahinda Big Match

Past pupils of two of Galle’s most celebrated rival schools, Richmond College and Mahinda College, will come together for the 16th edition of the “Lovers’ Quarrel” in the United Arab Emirates on May 2, 2026. Played in an exciting T20 format, the event will feature both 1st XI and 2nd XI matches, bringing Richmondites and Mahindians together for a spirited day of cricket, camaraderie, and the continuation of one of Sri Lanka’s most cherished school cricket rivalries.
